Gone Rural's non-profit organization, Gone Rural boMake, was founded in 2006 to assist rural women and their communities with education, health and social needs. Gone Rural creates income-generating opportunities for the women while Gone Rural boMake complements this progress with health and education programs and community services for the women artisans and their communities. Gone Rural supports Gone Rural boMake by contributing 50% of the non-profit's administrative costs and is working towards covering all administrative costs in the future.
