Development In Gardening (DIG) teaches skills and provides the infrastructure to create sustainable community gardens, empowering HIV-positive and other at-risk individuals in developing nations to improve both their nutrition and earning potential.

Donations at the following levels will provide:

$25 – Plant Seeds of Change

Supply a group of outpatients with a mix of open-pollinating seeds and fruit trees. These seeds are sustainable in that they can be harvested for the future.

$50 – Tools of the Trade

Provide reliable tools that go the distance by purchasing quality shovels, rakes, hoes, and watering cans.

$75 – Savor Every Drop

Water harvesting system for a HUG (Home Urban Garden) garden: captures and conserves precious rainwater that will be utilized in the garden. This system helps alleviate the daily burden of searching for water from a distance. Systems include guttering, piping and a storage barrel.

$100 – Give a HUG

Home Urban Garden: Enable a household to attain food and nutrition sustainability in a short amount of time by equipping villagers with seeds and supplies to build their own mini DIG garden.
